Sunscreen - USE WITH CAUTION

I came across this article a week ago and wished I had found it earlier in the season. Summer is half way over, but it is not too late to learn about the hazards of most sunscreens. So many parents think they are doing their kids a favor by slathering them with sunscreens. We all know that common sense is the best way to manage our sun exposure, but sometimes it is just not possible get out of the sun when you should. Gary Null Video

If you are not familiar with Gary Null, he has done amazing documentaries on some very controversial issues. I first heard of him through Dr. Mercola. This video/documentary is 103 minutes in length, but even if you only have time to watch the first 10 minutes, it will make an impact.
I am sure we all know young children and teenagers whose parents have been "persuaded" into giving them psychotropic drugs. If only more people understood that ADHD is a manufactured 'disease,' based on a set of symptoms, the perception of which is highly subjective. It is NOT hereditary. Being a very active, physical person is NOT a disorder. These so-called experts are creating something in order to push drugs and make money. It upsets me to see how many school officials try to ORDER parents to poison their child(ren) with drugs to make teaching more convenient for them. You know what? Teaching is challenging, and it is made more challenging because children need physical activity and in today's school, they don't get it. They need good nutrition, and don't get it. They need rest, many don't get enough of that either. There are so many brilliant, amazing, wonderful children whose lives are being ruined by people who don't even know they are doing it.

Drugs in Your Milk!

I am huge Dr. Mercola fan. If you have not heard of him, you should check him out at http://www.mercola.com/. He has an e-newsletter that he puts out 3 days a week. They are full of great information. His last newsletter had this interesting video that was done by FOX, but never aired on TV due to the pressure put on FOX by Monsanto. It is a 2 part video and each part is under 10 minutes in length. Definitely worth the time to watch.

Gardasil Vaccine - Think Twice

Gardasil is the vaccine that Merck developed to treat and prevent carvical cancer caused by HPV. If you have considered getting this vaccine or have thought about having your daughter receive it, you really need to read this article from CNN. I was trying to clean out some old emails and I came across one Geoff had sent me several months ago. He sent it to me right after he returned from a seminar in Denver where they played this video. I remember the tears welling up in my eyes as I watched this video for the first time. How many of us know children who have been labeled with ADD or ADHD? Parents and teachers have to be made aware of what these drugs are really doing to these children.
