There is so much research out there that shows that allowing kids with ADHD to fidgit helps in their learning. This article does a really good job of explaining why that is. There are too many teachers out there who do not understand this. If giving a child a squishy ball to squeeze helps a kid learn...then do it. It does not have to be something that is disruptive to the entire calss. I know one teacher who instead of placing the ADHD kid in the front row so she can "keep a close eye on him", she placed his seat in the back of the room so he could squirm and wiggle and sit on his knees. This way he does not block the view of other students. Several parents try to "make" their ADHD kids sit perfectly still during homework. This is not beneficial to anyone. Parents are fighting a losing battle. The kid simply cannot do is. He/she is not trying to be disobedient, they can't help it. Do not take me wrong on this topic. I belive there has to be limits and expectations, but try to have a little understanding for how these kids tick.

Vaccine Studies
Barbara Loe Fisher, co-founder of the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) was one of the first people I really paid attention to when I began researching vaccines. I have looked up to her for many years. In this article she really hits it on the head. There are many disturbing issues at work behind and beneath vaccine research that actually ends up seeing the light of day.

Vaccine Form
5 years ago when I enrolled my oldest son in Kindergarten I was unsure of what obstacles I would encounter. I had been "told" so many different things. I wanted to go in fully armed. I spent hours reading and researching. Unfortunately, everyone I knew that had been through this lived in a different state and all states differ in their regulations. I wish a site like this one had existed. It would have saved me hours. I had my letter all typed up and I even made a copy of the Indiana statue I referenced in my letter. To my relief I did not encounter too much resistance. A few baffled looks was all. If you are considering not vaccinating your children check out this link. It will save you hours and reassure you of your rights.

Petition for Better Health
This is the first time I have ever asked those of you who read my blog to sign a petition, but this is a petition worth signing! I have been asked to sign numerous petitions, but this one is really done right. It is simple to do. There is no hidden agenda. Just go to the site and you can read the actual petition which is very well written and you can also view a video that summarizes the ideas behind the petition. It is very easy to do and FAST. Please take a few moments to at least check it out and see what you think. We no longer have "health care." We have "sick care." Our health is our responsibility.
